The Emergency Services Unit staff works with Dane County youth providing clinical consultation and oversight to all Dane County Group Homes and Transitional Foster Homes. The youth residing in these homes often have special mental health needs and are at risk of institutional placement. The role of the ESU staff is to provide clinical consultation for each child. The ESU staff also assists the Group Home staff, Transitional Foster Home staff, and Dane County social work staff in identifying appropriate mental health services for the youth when indicated.
Youth must be referred by Dane County Human Services.
