About Opening Avenues to Re-Entry Success (OARS)

OARS supports the prison to community transition of persons living with a serious and persistent mental illness and who are at medium-to-high-risk of reoffending. The program is a collaborative effort with the Department of Corrections and the Department of Health Services.

The OARS Team will work together to develop a comprehensive Individualized Service Plan before and after release from prison to help the participant successfully reintegrate into the community.
