Training Details:
This two-part series will explore personality disorders with a focus on diagnosis, differentiation, and cultural awareness. Part 1 covers historical and conceptual models, an overview of diagnostic criteria and clusters, and key considerations for differential diagnosis.

Training Objectives:

  • Understand historical and conceptual models of personality disorders
  • Recognize diagnostic criteria and clusters
  • Differentiate personality disorders from mimicking disorders

Presenter:

Dr. Will Hutter is adjunct faculty at Northwestern University, teaching courses such as Power, Privilege & Difference, Family Systems, Group Therapy, and Substance Use Disorder from a systemic perspective. Through his private practice, FourRivers, he provides virtual therapy to LGBTQ+ youth and adults, individuals experiencing sexual dysfunction, and conflictual queer couples across WI, IL, SC, and ME. He also offers consultation, supervision, and workshops for clinicians and organizations.
