The GROW CCS (Growth Recovery Outreach Wellness) program at Journey Mental Health Center provides comprehensive, person-centered mental health and substance use support for adults and youth enrolled in the Comprehensive Community Services (CCS) program in Dane County, WI. Services are community-based and recovery-oriented, helping individuals build skills, connect with supports, and achieve meaningful goals in their recovery journey.

GROW serves CCS-enrolled individuals living with mental health conditions, substance use concerns, or both. Participants work with a supportive team to identify personal goals, access community resources, and move toward greater independence and stability.

Services Provided:

Our GROW CCS Services include:

  • Assessment: We complete a comprehensive evaluation to understand an individual’s mental health and substance use recovery needs, forming the foundation of a care plan.
  • Service Facilitation: A dedicated facilitator works with the individual to develop a personalized recovery plan, coordinate services, and ensure the care aligns with their goals.
  • Prescriber Services: Medication management and psychiatric evaluations conducted by licensed professionals.
  • Individual and Group Psychotherapy: Therapists provide one-on-one or group counseling to explore emotions, build coping skills, and support mental health recovery.
  • Educational and Vocational Rehabilitation: We assist with building skills, pursuing education, and finding or maintaining employment to support independence and long-term goals.
  • Peer Support Services: Trained peer specialists with lived experience offer encouragement, guidance, and insight to support the recovery journey.
  • Family Education and Support: We work with family or other support networks to provide education, strengthen communication, and build a stable foundation for recovery.
  • Individual Skill Development: We help in building everyday skills - from managing stress to budgeting or navigating relationships - supporting greater confidence and independence.
