I received my Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy from Edgewood College. I'm a licensed marriage and family therapist (LMFT) with a strong educational background in family systems therapy. I have experience working with individuals, couples, families, and groups, and I use a holistic approach that considers all aspects of a person's life - including family, community, work, and school - as part of their overall well-being.
I'm a trauma-informed therapist and strive to provide a safe, supportive space for healing. My approach is client-centered and strength-based, and I believe that clients are the experts in their own lives. I work collaboratively to help identify goals, strategies, and resources that support each person’s desired outcomes.
I have extensive training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and have helped build Journey’s comprehensive DBT program. I’m also a trained Prepare and Enrich Facilitator, supporting couples in strengthening their relationships, navigating challenges, and deepening their connection.
In my free time, I enjoy being with family and friends, watching and feeding backyard birds, practicing archery, fishing, and spending time outdoors.
