Legal Diversion Services – OWI Treatment Court

Journey's Legal Diversion Services provides initial screening, assessment, and referrals to appropriate treatment for individuals in the OWI Treatment Court jail diversion program of Dane County Treatment Court.

Services Provided:

Our OWI Treatment Court Services include:

  • Assessment and Intake for OWI Treatment Court: Journey staff conduct comprehensive behavioral health assessments for individuals entering OWI Court, identifying treatment needs and developing personalized recovery plans that align with court requirements.
  • Referral for Substance Use Treatment: Based on the intake results, our team connects participants to appropriate substance use treatment providers—ensuring timely access to services that support long-term sobriety and legal compliance.
  • Ongoing Case Management and Treatment Monitoring: Throughout the program, Journey case managers maintain regular contact with participants, coordinate care, and provide progress updates to the court. We ensure individuals stay engaged in treatment and receive the support needed for successful completion.
How to Get Started:

All consumers involved with legal diversion programs are court-ordered and each Treatment Court has different expectations.

Your screening will be completed by a trained clinician.
