Our Internship Program is designed to build competence in all aspects of clinical work, including individual and group counseling, case management, crisis work, screening, assessment, and consultation. Training new clinicians is one of our core values. We prioritize and individualize an Intern's experience and devote a good deal of energy to our program.
Survivors of Suicide (SOS) Support Group provides support to people who have been affected by a suicide loss. We meet the second and fourth Tuesdays of each month at Journey Mental Health Center. Each adult group is facilitated by a suicide survivor/volunteer and a mental health professional. Learn more about SOS in our quarterly newsletter. We also offer a resource library, periodic conferences, and forums. Download our brochure, “Help After Suicide.”
SOS support meetings have been suspended due to COVID 19. However, we are having virtual support group meetings the second and fourth Tuesday of every month. Please call 608-280-2435 if you are interested in attending.
