I’m a former Badger with both my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Social Work from the University of Wisconsin–Madison. I kicked off my career in Child Protective Services with Dane County DHS, then stepped into the world of Elementary School Social Work. That’s when I realized I wanted to zoom out and make a bigger impact both clinically and systemically.
Now, I’m the REST Program Lead at Journey Mental Health Center, where I get to blend my love for school-based work with mental health services. I spend a lot of my time doing advocacy work to expand access to culturally relevant mental health services in local school districts. During the school year, you’ll often find me running therapy groups—hands down, one of my favorite parts of the job. It’s truly the best of both worlds: supporting students where they are while doing meaningful clinical work!
I work primarialy with teens/adolescent - especially those who’ve experienced trauma and/or are dealing with stress, anxiety, or identity-related challenges. I focus a lot on supporting BIPOC youth and helping create safe, healing spaces.
Outside of work, I love spending time with my family, traveling, and camping. I’m also a big fan of organizing (yay!?), baking sweet treats, and getting creative with arts and crafts. And when I’m winding down, you’ll probably catch me playing cooking games on my phone—it's my not-so-guilty pleasure!
